Aluminum compounds (Al hydroxide and Aluminum phospate) are the most common adjuvants used in vaccines.
Aluminum is currently used in the following vaccines:
hepatitis A, hepatitis B,
diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP, Tdap) (tetanus) Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), human papillomavirus (HPV) and pneumococcus (PCV).
