The healers of the world are the Pastor/Minister, the Rabbi, or the right Doctor of Chiropractic. Not every chiropractor is a healer, just like not every Rabbi, Minister, or Pastor is a healer, but when you find the right one, you know.

Do You Want A Healer, Doctor, or Both?

Doctors who are healers, and all clinicians each have their own beliefs that guide their every-day clinical decision-making. Today (especially since I first wrote this article about 10 years ago), a doctor’s clinical decisions are not as scientifically true or false as we might want to believe. Skilled healers would make different clinical decisions than conventional doctors, based on what they believe is the best for you. Your doctor’s decisions are influenced by his or her core beliefs, not just the facts of your case. Even science itself is governed by core beliefs and bias. Any great healer holds core beliefs. Doctors are just people following their own beliefs, and they use their own treatments to act on those beliefs.

Shouldn’t Your Doctor Believe What You Believe?

Would you ever ask your doctor about his or her own faith, or about what drives your doctor’s own decisions? Do you want the care you would receive to be congruent with your own beliefs? You can ask! The answer you receive can give you insight, and you would find out something important about your doctor’s influences.

Are you searching for a true healer in Los Angeles? Hope-centered care? Are you searching for a caring doctor, a compassionate doctor, or a healer you can trust? Finding a like-minded, healing-friendly doctor is important, because his core beliefs will seriously affect his decisions about your treatment.

The Practice of Medicine is Steeped in its Own Beliefs. Lots of Those Beliefs Are Based on “Non-Science”

Healer vs. Doctor: Do you want a healer who can give you hope? Are you praying for healing? Do you want a compassionate doctor? Do you understand that the doctor’s treatment insights will be influenced by his beliefs and faith? Have you considered that the level of your doctor’s faith might influence his or her ability to help you heal? Do you believe there should be a natural synergy between a healer’s practice style and natural, scientific principles?

There Are Only Two Core Beliefs Guiding The Decisions of Doctors:

Core Belief #I: Whatever your symptoms are, you have them because your body is simply incapable of managing on its own. Therefore, you would need to take a drug (a toxin) for the rest of your life, or you would need surgery, radiation, or a combination of those treatments.

Or, Core Belief #2: Whatever your health compromise is, it is because your body has become inhibited, or blocked at some level from expressing its natural full healing potential.

The above two beliefs are complete opposites. Your treatment will ultimately be based on one of those underlying beliefs in each of your doctors. If you fully understand the difference between these belief systems, you know that they are mutually exclusive. That is, some combination of both doesn’t make any sense. One belief is not necessarily more scientific than the other, and one is not necessarily more miraculous or correct. However, either one will produce completely different diagnostic work-ups and treatment approaches. Which Do You Want In Your Doctor?

Hope is never lost, unless you believe in a doctor who has lost hope

A true doctor/healer must first determine the underlying condition and why there is sub-optimal function. This is integrative medicine, where healing is all about the underlying causes, not about the suppression of symptoms. Healing is not magic or miraculous; it is about the healer seeing the connections of mind and body. The healer discovers how to help your body restore its natural healing potential while supporting your body’s natural functions. This natural functional medicine process never requires using toxins or poisons.

If you want “Belief #1,” as stated above, you are seeking a conventional medical doctor’s (MD) care.

If you connect with the second (Core Belief #2), and you want that in your own doctor, then you match with my own belief system (I practice in Beverly Hills).

Who Does The Healing? Who is a Healer?

Now, this is the most important part: Who is a true healer? A true healer knows that healing happens, but it is not the doctor or the healer that does the healing. The best healer practitioner knows that drugs are not the healer. So, a doctor’s use of prescriptions is clearly not the defining factor in choosing the type of healer or doctor you want on your side. A true healer knows where your healing potential comes from. The healer knows how to bring that healing potential up, so your body, mind and spirit can do its healing. When a person calls himself a healer, it is misguided. The practitioner is not the healer! It is the patient’s own body where the healing comes from, guided by the right healer-doctor.

The healer looks for deep insight

Healers can use observable science, e.g. kinesiology for the purpose of greater insight. It is not in opposition to science.

Now you know more about how to chose your doctor or healer. You know the true difference between a medical doctor and a doctor such as myself: an integrative doctor.

The natural choice for the best healer in Los Angeles is one that respects your beliefs. He is an integrative chiropractor. Are there any integrative medicine doctors in Los Angeles? Yes. It is a natural choice. Make your choice for your own needs.
